CW Youth Programming: Youth Festival & Camp Washington Youth Group- On the Move!

Earlier this month, Camp Washington kicked-off the program year with our annual Youth Festival. Nearly 50 youth from around the state gathered for an overnight of friendship, food, fun, and affirmation. The theme for the gathering was “I AM” and was an opportunity to explore and affirm all the traits and gifts God has given us. Our youth are: Strong, Brave, Loved, Creative, Cherished, Smart, Kind, Enough, and MORE!

Over the weekend of September 14-15, participants enjoyed boating, swimming, ziplining, games, food trucks, dancing, singing, prayer, seeing old friends and making new ones!

Participants also learned about year-round opportunities to gather with their friends at Camp and around the ECCT as we announced the Camp Washington Youth Group- On the Move!

ATTENTION ALL CLERGY AND YOUTH LEADERS-ECCT has a new diocesan-wide Youth Group this year, and it’s on the move! Are you part of a youth group at your church? Do you wish your church had a youth group? Whether you come from a church with a few or 50 – we will meet a couple of times during the year at different churches to experience hospitality, fun, and new friendships. We will also begin and end the program year with gatherings at CW. This is going to be awesome!

This is an opportunity for EVERY parish to offer programming for their youth! All events can be found on our website: campwashington.org

Our next youth event will be at St. James’s West Hartford on Sunday October 6th from 4:00-6:00 PM. Sign up NOW to attend!

Adult Programming: Writing Classes and Yoga and More!

Camp Washington is so much more than Summer Camp! Our Adult Programming offers something for everyone.

Have you ever wanted to get away to Camp? Allow yourself the space and time to try something new: a writing or yoga retreat, an opportunity to learn something new about scripture, a time for healing or retreat. Perhaps you need some time for action, self-growth, or perhaps simply some time for worship and community. Make plans to come “Home” soon, and experience the beauty, peace, and love of the Camp Washington community.

CW: Close enough to get away – Far enough to feel away.
