The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut

Clergy Day

What can we learn about God and ourselves in these difficult times of living with COVID-19 and violence in our nation perpetrated by racism

About this Event

Questions that we will consider together include:

  • What does it mean to be the church living with COVID-19?
  • How are we called to challenge and deconstruct racism and white supremacy?
  • What are we learning about God, about the church, and about ourselves in these difficult times?
  • What is God saying and what are we called to do as clergy leaders at this time?

The day will include time for Dwelling in the Word, small group conversation, plenary sharing, conversation with your bishops, and prayer and worship. This will be a virtual gathering via Zoom beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending by 2:00 p.m.

There will be ample time for breaks and lunch to avoid "Zoom fatigue."
