Yale Youth Ministry Institute Lunch & Lecture

Yale Divinity School - Old Refectory
409 Prospect St.
New Haven, CT 06511

Join us Wednesday, March 6 for a free Lunch and Lecture in the Old Refectory at Yale Divinity School. Yale Youth Ministry Institute is proud to present our second Lunch + Lecture of the Spring semester. This afternoon's lecture will feature Dr. Sarah F. Farmer, Assistant Professor of Practical Theology and Community Development at Indiana Wesleyan University, Dr. Nadja Reilly, a clinical psychologist and the Associate Director of the Freedman Center for Child and Family Development at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology (MSPP) and Ms. Kate Hyde, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in mental health psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and families.

This lecture introduces the framework, CARE, for people who work with adolescents. The concept of CARE is founded on the belief that adolescents’ emotional health is inherently tied into their physical, spiritual, and social selves. In this interactive lecture, we will highlight the interplay between the psychological and spiritual components of CARE in order to foster skills to promote joy and flourishing in adolescents.

This event is free and open to the public.
