Children with Special Needs

Our Baptismal Covenant (BCP, p. 304-5) calls us to seek and serve Christ in all persons. The Episcopal Church in Connecticut is committed to helping the faithful live out that call with all people, including children with special needs.

One of the ways that communities in ECCT reach out to families and children with special needs is by offering the Rhythms of Grace worship service. Rhythms of Grace was developed by Linda Snyder and Audrey Scanlan here in CT. Linda Snyder is available to share about ministry with children with special neeeds as part of the Speaker's Bureau. Currently there are five parishes in CT that offer a Rhythms of Grace service:
