Once a year, the Episcopal Church in Connecticut gathers together into one place for prayer, listening, learning, and to conduct the business of our Diocese. All are welcome to our Annual Convention, and each parish may send at least one elected delegate, who along with all clergy of our Diocese form the voting delegation.
Our work begins Friday, November 4th at 2:00 PM and wraps up Saturday afternoon. Click on “2022 Annual Convention” below for more information such as resolutions, nominations and elections, worship, and a more detailed schedule of the day.
**Important update regarding registration of nonvoting members**:
We are pleased to invite non-voting members to attend Convention this year, following the guidelines prepared for the Consecration/Ordination of our Bishop-elect several weeks prior. Particularly, we invite those clergy who are not canonically resident but who are in charge of parishes to register and attend, as well as lay alternates or others interested in the work of our diocese.
Safety Protocols: All attendees are required to mask and are invited to self-disclose their vaccination status; this information will be made available the week prior in order to assist delegates in making decisions around attending. A section of the ballroom will be spaced at a greater distance for those who wish to socially distance.
For registering: While parishes and IECs are able to register and pay as a group, you will still need to provide a separate email address for each registrant, as well as meal choices and other individual information.
Please note: There will be an additional program on Friday evening at our Cathedral. Tickets for this event will be handled separately. More details will be coming soon!
