About the Continuing Education Grant
ECCT offers grants up to $1,500 to assist clergy, lay employees, and lay leaders of parishes, Intentional Episcopal Communities (IEC), worshipping communities, and ministry networks as they seek to further their ministry through continuing education.
Grant applications are accepted via the online form on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. Hard copy or email submissions will not be considered.
Once received, applications are reviewed by the Commission on Ministry, which meets quarterly. Awards are made based on availability of funds and number of requesting persons. For addition information, please contact the Canon for Lay & Ordained Vocations.
Application Requirements
- Applicants must be clergy resident in ECCT, lay employees, or lay leaders in a recognized ECCT ministry, including parishes, IECs, worshipping community, or ministry network.
- Funds can be used for a variety of expenses, including but not limited to: registration costs, travel, resources and materials, etc.
- All grant recipients agree to complete ECCT’s “Continuing Education Evaluation Form” once they have completed their continuing education.
- In order to expediate payments should the grant be approved, please ensure you have an updated ACH/Direct Deposit Form and W-9 on file with ECCT.
