ECCT Parish Relief Resources - Now Available to Apply

The Episcopal Church in Connecticut is prepared to take specific pre-emptive steps to facilitate parishes in mitigating the financial impact caused by COVID-19. In the efforts to assist our most vulnerable parishes, the Mission Council of the Missionary Society has approved the following resources for parishes that are in good standing or are working to ensure their good standing status.

  • 90 Day Deferred Payments of Property & Casualty.
  • 90 Day Deferred Payments on the Revolving Loan Grants.
  • COVID-19 Parish Relief Loan of up to 50% of their 2019 Operating Expenses, with no award exceeding $50,000.

  • CPG PENSION WAIVER REQUEST APPLICATION PROCESS (Parish must be in Good Standing)

    Fill Out the Waiver Application Here!

    A temporary waiver application of assessments that must be paid for clergy participating in The Church Pension Fund Clergy Pension Plan. 

    1. All CPG applications request for a waiver should be sent to the Canon for Mission Finance & Operations, Rosanna Rosado rrosado@episcopalct.org and cc Operations Manager, Matt Handi mhandi@episcopalct.org
    2. Be sure to fill out the waiver application in full, including certification check boxes, diocesan contact (Canon for Mission Finance and Operations), clergy information and period of temporary waiver.
    3. Submit with E-Mail Subject Line: CPG Pension Waiver, and the Parish Name. 
    4. Upon receipt and review, Bishop Ian T. Douglas will approve the application and it will be sent directly to the CPG Region Manager, Akina Warner.
