Energy Audit Status

Has your parish completed an Energy Audit in the past 5 years?

All parishes and worshipping communities are required by resolution of ECCT’s Annual Convention (2021: Resolution #3, “Care of God’s Creation and Creatures”) to complete an Energy Audit at least every 5 years.

Information will be provided at the end of this survey to help you move forward in scheduling and completing your parish’s Energy Audit.

Energy Upgrades to Buildings & Grounds

Has your parish incorporated any upgrades to its buildings and grounds to increase energy efficiency?
e.g. solar panels, window replacements, updated thermostats, etc.

Creation Care Liturgy & Worship

Has your parish incorporated the care for God’s creation and creatures in its liturgy and worship?
e.g. outdoor worship, special events, Earth Tenebrae; including Sunday liturgies and materials for preaching Advocacy and Justice work.

Creation Care Education

Has your parish incorporated the care for God’s creation and creatures into its education and artistic endeavors?
e.g. exploring the Connecticut River and watershed activities and tree plantings.

Creation Care Collaboration

Has your parish collaborated with other faith organizations or community partners to promote or advocate for the care for God’s creation and creatures?
e.g. working with local government to promote recycling and composting, participating in community gardens, etc.
