2023 Clergy Conference: Hope and Healing in Life and Ministry at The Inn at Middletown

The conference will open with a presentation offered by Church Pension Group (CPG) the afternoon of May 15th as a listening and learning session to provide practical resources for clergy wellbeing. The planning team will also be coordinating additional activities for Tuesday afternoon designed with life-giving joy in mind. The conference will conclude Wednesday morning with time with our Bishops, and a Celebration of the Holy Eucharist.
Our keynote speaker, the Rev. Dr. Allison St. Louis, currently operates the Center for Healing & Hope, is a licensed clinical psychologist, and spiritual director. Dr. St. Louis is also an affiliated faculty member of Virginia Theological Seminary, a staff member of the Episcopal Preaching Foundation’s Preaching Excellence Program and serves on the Pastoral Services Advisory Committee at Hartford Hospital. She has served at Christ Church Cathedral in Hartford, at Church of Our Saviour in Silver Spring, MD as assistant and associate rector. She holds Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Science degrees from Howard University and a Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary. She was ordained a priest in 2001 by the Rt. Rev. Jane Holmes Dixon, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and her cross-cultural experience includes studies in Mexico and Kenya.
Conference cost is $100; $25 for Retired Clergy
To register for the hotel, guests should go to the Inn at Middletown website and select the dates for the stay, entering the access/promo code: ECCT2023 to open the block room rate of $149 per night. Individuals are responsible for all room and incidental charges.
Please note: The deadline to reserve a room with the special group rate of $149 per night is Monday, May 1st by 7:00 AM. There will be no exceptions or guarantees of receiving this special rate if the room reservation is made after May 1st at 7:00 AM.
