An evening of jazz, rock, and well-known vocal standards from “the great American songbook,” is slated for Saturday, Nov. 18, at 7 PM, featuring the popular duo of vocalist Tuesday Rupp and guitarist Pete Miserendino.
Rupp and Miserendino have performed together in a variety of venues around Connecticut and are widely recognized for the quality of their musicianship, their taste in music, and the powerful chemistry of Rupp’s voice and Miserendino’s guitar. They have themed the evening’s musical selections as “Starry, Starry Night.”
“Starry, Starry Night” should be a great evening of well-known music, Rupp said, featuring music by James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, U2, Brandi Carlile, and others, plus unique arrangements of beloved jazz standards.
“Personally, Pete and I absolutely love this music, and we absolutely love playing together,” Rupp said, “Our hope is that the energy we share, and our love for this music, will light up the room and bring smiles to the faces of our audience!”
“Starry, Starry Night” will be held at St. Paul’s Church in Woodbury. A suggested donation of $20 per person at the door will support the mission and ministry of St. Paul’s Church. No reservations are required, but people are encouraged to come early for the best seats.
