Dante’s Divine Comedia Series at Christ Church, Greenwich

In this SERIES OF FOUR EVENINGS, Professor Hawkins will discuss Dante’s three-part poem, especially relevant during Lent. He begins his journey on Good Friday, spends Holy Saturday in Hell, and arrives in Purgatory on Easter morning with love and joy. We will venture through the dark wood with Dante and rediscover the goodness of God. The first evening is co-led by Professor Hawkins and Professor Page Knox who will discuss Dante’s influence on art throughout history. Join one or all of these intriguing discussions.
