Deacons Quiet Day and Renewal of Vows

On Saturday, December 18 from 9 AM -2 PM, we will gather at our Cathedral of Christ Church in Hartford for an Advent Quiet Day of Healing Prayer and Renewal of Vows. Our day will have three parts:

• First, a morning of healing prayer together. We will create a safe space in which we will pray together for the healing of others and ourselves as the Spirit suggests to us. Deacon Ron Steed will guide us in the three healing prayer sessions with some time for walking reflection.
• At noon, we will enjoy a simple meal of soup and bread in a spirit of table fellowship together.
• At 1 PM, we will renew our ordination vows in a service of Holy Eucharist, with Deacon Pat Jackson preaching.

Please join us as we open our hearts to the healing power of Jesus, and renew our commitment to proclaim the Gospel, to serve all people, and to make Christ and his redemptive love known to those among whom we live, and work, and worship.
