During the Wednesdays of Lent, beginning with March 1 and including March 8, 15, 22, and 29, folks are invited to explore the dramatic elements in the Gospel according to St. John. We will engage John in such a way as to discover how we can bond with the text to make it come alive. Fr. George Roberts, Rector of St. James Parish, Farmington, holds an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Mississippi and will lead a dynamic study – in performance and word – on John’s oft misunderstood message. We will begin each night with a light supper of soup and salad, beginning at 6pm. From 6:30 – 8pm, we will engage a variety of passages in John, among them the Evangelist’s account of Christ’s crucifixion.
Please join us, all are welcome, and the series is free.
RSVP: Please email Fr. George at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can prepare enough food for everyone.
