Good Friday 3 Hour Service at Christ Church, Greenwich

GOOD FRIDAY
The Three Hour Service:

12:00 pm The first hour begins with Lamentations of Jeremiah by Thomas Tallis, sung by the Gentlemen of the Choir.

12:30 pm ‘The Second Seven Last Words,’ written by the Rev. Andrew McGowan, Dean and President of Berkeley Divinity School and McFaddin, Professor of Anglican Studies and Pastoral Theology. This is the very first time Prof. McGowan will share his “Second Seven Last Words” in a service. Homilies and readings will be interspersed throughout with plainsong psalmody sung by the Gentlemen of the Choir.

2:00 pm The third hour is the Liturgy for Good Friday, with music sung by the Christ Church Singers.
