Good Friday: Pilgrimage on Main Street, Middletown

This Good Friday pilgrimage brings us to a series of places which remind us of the invisible wounds of Middletown. Our city is strong and prosperous, and can seem like the perfect place to be. And yet, under the surface, we struggle. On this Good Friday, we are intentionally noticing those struggles and remembering them at different sites here and on Main Street, sites which remind us that even in Middletown, all is not perfect.

Church of the Holy Trinity, Middletown, is partnering with First Church in Middletown, UCC, Congregational along with several community leaders as we walk and pray at seven locations along the downtown district. We’ll begin at First Church (190 Court St, Middletown) at 12pm and end at CHT (381 Main St) around 12:45pm. Our sanctuary will be open afterwards for a time of response and reflection.
