Honoring the Land at the Institute of American Indian Studies & Camp Washington

October 15 @ 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM

$30

The Journey of Discovery with Indigenous Peoples Ministry Network, the Fostering Right Relationship Task Force, and the Office of the Canon for Mission Advocacy, Racial Justice and Reconciliation invites you to join us for a guided visit to the Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington, CT. After the museum visit we will gather at Camp Washington for a time of prayer, reflection and conversation about our relationship with the Peoples on whose traditional lands we live, work and worship – reminding ourselves of their ongoing, if sometimes hidden, presence among us – and our relationship with the land itself. The afternoon will conclude with a delicious Camp Washington supper. Transportation is your own.

Suggested Donation is $30. The remaining costs for this event are being underwritten by the Journey of Discovery with Indigenous Peoples Ministry Network. Scholarships are available.
