As you begin to make plans for Super Bowl Sunday, you may notice that Valentine’s Day is the next day. This Sunday afternoon concert by Jason Castonguay, a blind virtuoso musician on harp and piano followed by a simple reception of bubbly and chocolates is the perfect way to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The concert will feature the 1926 Mason and Hamlin baby grand piano which resided at Christ Episcopal Church in Norwich and now has a new home in Hebron. There will be a short dedication and thanksgiving for the good people of Christ Church who sadly voted to close the church this past summer. Artist Jason Castonguay, a parishioner at St. Peter’s, was winner of the Connecticut Idol contest as part of the American Idol contest and has performed with the Hartford Symphony and a host of musical groups across CT, the nation and internationally. It promises to be a lovely afternoon. Suggested donations for adults is $20 at the door. The concert will also be broadcast live via Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/St-Peters-Episcopal-Church-Hebron-CT-141560305889481/
