DESCRIPTION:Come join us at St. Francis Episcopal Church for the 13th An
 nual Miles for a Mission 5K Run/Walk Event benefiting Fairgate Farm! Run
 ners/walkers can participate in-person (9 AM on Sept 21) at 2810 Long Ri
 dge Rd\, Stamford\, or virtually (Sept 15 – 21). To register ($30/pers
 on) and/or to donate\, visit https://runsignup.com/mfm. (Note: The Even
 t will NOT be chip timed but\, if you register as timed\, we WILL record
  your finish time and place. Your results will be posted on this website
  a few days after the event). Dogs are welcome\, especially to the Dogap
 alooza activities starting at 9 AM and the contest which will take place
  at 9:45 AM!\n\nAll proceeds from the event will go to Fairgate Farm whi
 ch supports Stamford’s underserved residents through five core initiat
 ives: Food Access\, Education\, Environmentalism\, Volunteerism\, and Co
 mmunity Building. Annually\, the farm produces over 30\,000 servings of 
 fresh produce\, distributed via volunteers\, donations\, and a "Pay What
  You Can" farmstand\, ensuring affordability for all. This year\, a new 
 mobile farmstand will expand nutritious food access to Stamford communit
 ies. The farm also combats food waste through community composting and o
 ffers free public programs\, including educational tours\, gardening cla
 sses\, cooking demonstrations\, farm yoga\, and family festivals. Visit
