The National Day of Remembrance on September 30th is a day to remember and honor those who attended Indian Boarding Schools, to tell the truth about this history and how it continues to impact Native communities today. Many boarding schools were supported and run by Christian denominations and churches. As we remember this legacy, Christians have a responsibility to engage in the work of truth telling.
