DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, November 1\, Quilt Sale 1pm - 4pm\, Tea by ticket
  only 2pm - 3pm\n  This event is timed to help those in the community b
 egin their season of joy and gift giving.  All proceeds from The Quilt 
 &amp\; Gift Sale and Tea will go directly to benefit Carol’s Closet Pa
 per Pantry.\nFrom 2pm – 3pm there will be a Tea for ticket holders.  
 The Tea will include freshly steeped Hibiscus Herbal Tea and English Bre
 akfast Tea.  Following the English tradition\, “fresh from the oven�
 � orange scones with apple butter will be served.  Assorted tea sandwic
 hes including cucumber\, egg salad\, ham &amp\; cheese\, and chicken sal
 ad will be provided.  Tasty sweets will put the finishing touches on th
 e festive tea including lime bars\, fall leaf cookies\, brownies\, molas
 ses cookies and London bars.  Gluten Free sandwich and treat options wi
 ll be available.   St. James’ has a history of holding teas to encou
 rage fellowship while having some fun.  Tickets are $25 and can be purc
 hased at the St. James’ website www.stjamesgl.org.  The number of ti
 ckets available are limited\, so anyone interested is encouraged to purc
 hase their tickets well in advance.\nBeginning at 1pm an impressive vari
 ety of handmade quilts and unique gifts will be on display for sale.  
  Jewelry\, knitted items\, floral arrangements\, baked goods and other h
 andcrafted pieces will also be featured.  Admission to the sale and par
 king is free.  Carol’s Closet Paper Pantry helps our Glastonbury neig
 hbors in need by providing items that are not covered by SNAP benefits i
 ncluding toilet paper\, paper towels\, tissue\, toothpaste\, toothbrushe
 s\, soap and pet food.
