Book of Common Prayer

The Book of Common Prayer is a critical part of what it is to worship God and follow Jesus in the Episcopal way.

The Book of Common Prayer, or BCP, is both ancient and constantly evolving. It is less a “book” in the traditional sense than it is a compilation of prayers, devotionals, liturgies, teaching resources, historical documents, and creeds. The Episcopal Church is diverse in many ways. Our “common” worship, drawn from the BCP, brings us together in unity.
