Mission Council is the executive body of ECCT. (It can be thought of as Diocesan Convention in between Convention.)
It includes representatives from the regions, representatives from ministry networks, and the officers of the diocese (Bishops, Secretary, Chancellor, Treasurer). Members of Mission Council are nominated by the bishops and then elected at Diocesan Convention for three year terms.
The time commitment includes quarterly Saturday meetings and a “work day” in January as well as additional time spent in working groups and reviewing documents in preparation for meetings. Terms are three years.
