The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut

Mandatory Clergy Professional Development

In 2019 we will again hear from Dr. David Olsen, Executive Director of Samaritan Counseling Center and author of Saying No to Say Yes. In addition, the Bishops will offer their vantage points on a variety of topics. Canon Robin Hammeal-Urban will also be a presenter. She will offer a report on Title IV in ECCT, updates in safe church practices as well as insights from Sustaining Ministry Foundations and Practices for Serving Faithfully, Sandra Wheeler, Baker Publishing Group 2017. Attendance at a Mandatory Professional Development Day for Clergy is required for all clergy canonically resident or licensed in the Episcopal Church in Connecticut (ECCT).
