Nominee for: Mission Council, Lay Person

Please describe your current involvement in the Episcopal Church in Connecticut using first person, narrative language.

I am the Senior Warden without settled clergy at All Saints’ in Wolcott serving in my fifth year. I chair the Vestry meeting. I am also acting as Junior Warden with one of the parishioners being a sexton. I am a Lay Worship Leader leading Morning Prayer at least once per month, as well as a Lay Preacher preaching at least once per month. I am also the leader of the Lay Worship team. I have plans to lead adult education in the near future.

I am a volunteer working with cats at ARF – Animal Rescue Foundation in Terryville, CT

  Please provide a brief personal statement as to why you are suited to this position using first person narrative language.

With years of experience attending Annual Meetings and serving All Saints’ as a vestry member, treasurer and senior warden, I have a deep understanding of our church’s operations. I am Christ-centered, level-headed, an attentive listener and bring a healthy sense of humor to my leadership.
