There will be a funeral Mass for the Rev. David Parachini on Saturday, April 12 at 10 AM at Christ Church, Pomfret. Bishop Laura Ahrens will preside and the Rev. Jane Hale will preach. The Revs. Sandra Cosman and Marge Roccoberton will participate.
Christ Church, Pomfret, is located at 527 Pomfret Street, Pomfret, CT 06259. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson’s Foundation, the National Wildlife Federation, or the ASPCA.
The Rev. David Parachini
The Rev. David Parachini, a dedicated servant of The Episcopal Church and a devoted leader in community service, passed away on February 17, 2025.
The Rev. Parachini served as a priest since his ordination in 1969, holding various roles in parishes across Massachusetts, the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, and Connecticut. He served as the Assistant Dean at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University from 1986 to 1990. He also worked extensively in health and human services administration, with long-standing positions on the Boards of the United Way of Connecticut and the APT Foundation.
