Jean Tomasco Joins ECCT Staff as Interim Human Resources Manager

Jean Tomasco has accepted the invitation from the Rt. Rev. Ian T. Douglas, Bishop Diocesan, to serve as the half-time Interim Human Resources Manager in the Episcopal Church in Connecticut (ECCT). Jean will aid in the development and administration of policies and procedures that will support employees of ECCT, amongst other duties. Jean officially joined ECCT staff on February 17, 2022.  

“I am very happy to be at ECCT and excited to begin this new phase of my career,” said Jean. “I look forward to supporting ECCT and God’s mission. I hope to meet many of you soon.”  

Jean spent over 25 years as an attorney at the law firm of Robinson & Cole LLP, focusing primarily on employment law with an emphasis on employer counseling, training, and employment and benefits litigation. Jean also worked as an associate counsel and human resources specialist for the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA).

Jean lives in Southington with her husband, Allan, and their very entertaining cats, Harry and Ollie. Jean and Allan are parishioners at St. Paul’s, Southington. They have two children: Brian, a software engineer in the Washington, D.C. area, and Sarah, an engineering student at Northeastern University in Boston. In her free time, Jean enjoys traveling, music, photography, arts and crafts, and reading.
