The 81st General Convention will met in Louisville, Kentucky, June 23-28, 2024. General Convention is the highest governing body of The Episcopal Church, meeting every three years and made up of the Church’s bishops and elected lay and ordained deputies from each diocese. A total of 396 resolutions were submitted for consideration at the 81st General Convention. Three of these resolutions proposed changes the The Episcopal Church’s Constitution and one to the Book of Common Prayer.
It is a requirement of Canon I.1.1.e that dioceses be notified whenever any alteration of the Book of Common Prayer or of the Constitution is proposed.
