May 29th, St Stephen’s East Haddam will be hosting a potluck dinner for the CT River Pilgrimage at 6pm.

Come for a meal and conversation with people who are currently and formerly homeless and learn about the experience of housing insecurity and homelessness in Connecticut, and especially along the Connecticut River as we welcome a group of pilgrims to East Haddam, as they paddle down the Connecticut River

This event is sponsored by St. Stephen's, the Southeast and South Central Regions of the Episcopal Church in Connecticut, and LEAD, a committee of the Coalition on Housing and Homelessness. This event is free and open to the public, and dinner will be provided. Folks are asked to bring a side dish.  Sign up through Eventbrite or call the parish office at 860-873-9547 

June 12th, Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, Baker Auditorium, 7:00pm. 
"Gun Violence as  Public Health Issue"

Presentation by Dr. Megan Ranney, Chief Research Officer of AFFIRM Research a non-profit committed to solving the American gun violence epidemic through innovation and evidence. She is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital/Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Director and Founder of the Brown Emergency Digital Health Innovation program.   Light refreshments will be served; event is free, but please register at Sponsored by the Greater New London Clergy Association and  L& M Hospital.

WEEKDAYS, JULY 15 – JULY 26, 2019 Collaborative Vacation Bible School

The CT B.I.T. Players (Bible in Theater) will offer a Vacation Bible School July 15 - 26, 9am - 3pm for Shoreline children in Grades 2 - 8.  The program will culminate with a performance that will be open to the public on July 26, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.Rehearsal sessions will be held at: St. John’s Episcopal Church, Essex, (7/15-22) Trinity Lutheran Church, Centerbrook, (7/23-25), under the Direction of Laurie Medvec Burke of All Saints in Ivoryton.  TUITION: $25.00 (Scholarships available) Participants are asked to bring their own lunches and snacks.  More information and Registration at
