For the 2024 Christmas concert at St. James’s Episcopal Church in West Hartford, we will be focusing on Mary, the mother of Jesus, with choral and organ repertoire written exclusively by female composers over the centuries, with an intersectional focus. Works by Abbie Betinis, Anna Lapwood, Hildegard von Bingen, Rosephanye Powell, etc. will be presented by our adult choir, choristers, and children’s choir along with instruments for this musical celebration of the season.
