Christ Church Trumbull is hosting a night of music! Multi-talented pianist Danny Zelibor and mezzo-soprano Devony Smith will perform a music selection that includes American, German, and Scandinavian Art song, along with festive Christmas music!

We gather outside to light the huge Christmas tree and sing carols. Normally we have a bonfire but this year with the fire warnings, that will probably be off the program. We have hot chocolate and a bake sale to benefit Cheyenne River Reservation to buy Christmas presents for the children.

“Ahavah,” which means love in Hebrew, is a ballet that tells a story of hope in the midst of despair.  An imaginative retelling of the story of Jesus’ birth, this production has been running for 19 years, and is now becoming a local Christmas tradition in Middletown, CT. Ahavah explores the mystery of  Christmas, demonstrating how love can shine brightly even in the darkest of times.  This is a magical show for the whole family that will surely lift your spirit!

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church St. Nicholas Fair

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 30 Church Street [RT. 85], Hebron will hold their annual St. Nicholas Fair on Saturday, December 7th, from 9-3.

Holiday shoppers will be treated to a Country Store with homemade jams, jellies, and other holiday treats, as well as a Bake Table featuring bread, pies and other baked goods.

There will be a Christmas Items sale, Classic Treasures sale, Jewelry Sale, Homemade Crafts, Needlework, and Rada Cutlery.

Boxes with arranged greens, as well as greened centerpieces will be available for purchase.

Have your picture taken with Santa Claus and get a free copy.

Visit Vendor Tables, with their unique offerings.

A luncheon to die for, including Chef Kraemer’s famous Clam Chowder and also Corn Chowder awaits your taste buds. Sandwiches to choose from are egg salad, tuna salad, and chicken salad, as well as hot dogs and Sausage Parm Grinders. Hot coffee, cocoa, and cold drinks will be available.

Finally, the Holiday Basket Drawings!!! Shoppers will be able to select from over 25 Holiday and non-holiday themed baskets, all suitable for gift giving and tickets are only $1 each!!
