Our first Mandatory Clergy Professional Development (MCPD) online make-up session is fast approaching and we want to ensure you are making room in your schedule for this, or one of the other two make-up sessions, to complete your required training.
As a reminder, MCPD is offered every 3 years through the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. This training meets the requirement of updated Safe Church Training; and includes relevant information about updates to Safe Church policies and other relevant best practice guidelines and policies for clergy. It is mandatory for all licensed and canonically resident clergy in ECCT, including those who have had Safe Church training within the last three years.
In order to remain in good standing in ECCT, please sign up for and complete one of the upcoming MCPD Zoom training sessions.

Note: Clergy who are inactive, meaning they perform no liturgical actions for family or anyone else, may indicate such inactivity to the diocesan bishop’s office and can be excused from this training requirement.
