A summer kids’ event called True North will be hosted at Church of the Good Shepherd from July 28 (Monday) to August 1 (Friday), 2025. At True North, kids discover what it means to trust Jesus in a wild world! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love, and test out sciency-fun experiments they’ll never forget. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Compass Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 11:30 AM.
True North is for kids from 5 to 10 years of age and will run from 9 am to noon each day. For more information, call 203-795-6577. Cost is $25 per child, with a limit of $70 per family. Registration is required. After June 15, 2025, cost is $30 per child with a limit of $80 per family. Registration closes June 30, 2025, or when the program is full. Volunteer opportunities are also available for adults or high schoolers looking for community service hours.
